2. Telemedicine Services

Hyer Function provides certain medical services through telemedicine platforms, where permitted by law.

By participating in telemedicine services you acknowledge that:

  • Telemedicine has limitations compared to in-person care

  • Certain conditions may require in-person medical evaluation

  • Technology failures may disrupt care

  • Not all medical issues can be safely managed via telemedicine

 

Hyer Function reserves the right to determine whether a patient is appropriate for telemedicine care.

3. Not Emergency Medical Services

This website and Hyer Function services are not intended for emergency medical care.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek care at the nearest emergency department.

Hyer Function does not monitor communications for urgent medical conditions.

Hyer Function reserves the right to deny service at its discretion where clinically appropriate.

6. Prescription and Treatment Decisions

Clinical decisions regarding treatment—including but not limited to:

  • hormone therapy

  • metabolic health management

  • weight management medications

  • laboratory testing

  • other therapeutic interventions

are made solely at the discretion of the treating medical provider.

Enrollment in a Hyer Function program does not guarantee:

  • eligibility for treatment

  • prescriptions

  • specific medications

  • laboratory orders

  • continued participation in a program.

7. Compounded Medications

In certain situations, a provider may determine that a compounded medication is appropriate.

Compounded medications:

  • are not FDA-approved

  • are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies

  • may be used when a commercially available product is not clinically appropriate or available.

Your provider will determine whether compounded therapy is medically appropriate.

8. Third-Party Services

 

Hyer Function may coordinate services through third parties, including but not limited to:

  • telehealth technology platforms

  • laboratory testing providers

  • pharmacies

  • registered dietitians

  • health coaches

Hyer Function is not responsible for the actions or services of third-party providers.

Separate terms and privacy policies may apply.

9. Membership and Payment Terms

Certain Hyer Function services are offered through membership or program-based models.

By enrolling in a Hyer Function program, you agree that:

  • fees will be charged according to the program terms presented at enrollment

  • membership fees may recur on a monthly basis

  • services may include defined program commitments.

Payment obligations are not dependent upon whether medications are prescribed.

Refund policies, if applicable, will be described during program enrollment.

10. Cancellation and Termination

Hyer Function reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:

  • a patient provides false or misleading information

  • a patient engages in abusive or inappropriate conduct

  • a provider determines continued treatment is not medically appropriate

  • legal or regulatory requirements require termination.

Patients may also discontinue services in accordance with the program’s cancellation policy.

11. Privacy

 

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

Healthcare information submitted during medical care is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws.

12. Intellectual Property
