Meet the Team

Medical Director, Owner
Dr. Feldberg
For more than a decade, Dr. Feldberg has practiced internal medicine with a singular focus: not simply treating illness, but helping patients stay ahead of it. Over the course of his career, he has worked alongside patients managing complex chronic conditions — witnessing firsthand both the dedication that evidence-based medicine demands and the systemic limitations that too often stand between patients and the care they need.
What became increasingly clear was that women, in particular, were bearing the weight of those limitations. Women navigating the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause - experiencing symptoms that were disruptive, cumulative, and deeply personal - were routinely dismissed, undertreated, or left to manage on their own. Their concerns were minimized. Their options were not explained. The system was not built to serve them well.
That conviction was reinforced in the most personal way when his wife navigated a difficult postpartum recovery and, not long after, began her own transition into perimenopause. Watching her experience the gaps in traditional care — the fragmented appointments, the lack of coordinated support, the absence of a team that saw the full picture — gave him a perspective that no medical training alone could provide. He understood not just clinically, but deeply, what was missing.
He founded Hyer Function to fill that gap. The practice brings together physician-led hormone management, medically guided weight loss, registered dietitian support, and certified wellness coaching into a single, integrated model — because sustainable health outcomes require more than a prescription. They require a team that communicates, coordinates, and stays engaged with each patient's progress over time.
Hyer Function's clinical protocols are grounded in the current evidence from NAMS, the Endocrine Society, ACOG, AACE, and the leading obesity medicine literature. He believes in treating the whole person — not the labs — and in building individualized plans that reflect each patient's history, goals, and quality of life. Through telemedicine, he is able to offer the depth of attention that traditional primary care often cannot: real time, real answers, and a provider who is genuinely invested in long-term outcomes.
Women deserve a physician who listens, a care team that works together, and a practice built specifically for this stage of life. That is what Hyer Function was designed to be.

Wellness Coach
Staci
Staci's path to wellness coaching began in the ICU. As a Registered Nurse, she spent years on the front lines of critical care witnessing firsthand how lifestyle, stress, and an absence of preventive support could bring someone to the brink. When the pandemic reshaped the healthcare landscape, Staci stepped away from bedside nursing and, shortly after, navigated her own challenging postpartum experience. That intersection of professional knowledge and deeply personal struggle became the foundation for everything that followed.
She founded Alynd Fitness LLC with a clear mission: keep women out of the hospital by giving them the tools to thrive before a crisis ever happens. What began as a fitness-focused practice quickly evolved into something far more comprehensive; a whole-person approach built around the six pillars she works through with every client: movement, nutrition, sleep, stress management, self-worth, and community.
Today, Staci specializes in guiding women through the major transitions that define so much of women's health: perimenopause, menopause, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. She holds certifications in personal training, wellness coaching, nutrition coaching, and pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise, and she brings that full toolkit to every client relationship.
Nothing Staci recommends is cookie-cutter. Every plan is built around you, your body, your season of life, your goals. Her approach blends clinical insight with the kind of candor and care you'd expect from someone who genuinely has your back.
Wellness coaching is supportive and educational in nature and does not constitute medical advice, medical treatment, or nutrition therapy. All medical decisions and prescribing remain solely with Hyer Function's licensed medical providers.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Sharon
For over 10 years, Sharon has focused her professional education and clinical practice on
supporting women through different stages of life. She began her career as a Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist and later expanded her training to become a Certified Diabetes Educator
(CDE) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her experience spans
clinical settings, in-home care, and virtual practice, allowing her to support women across a
variety of life stages and care models.
Sharon’s work is rooted in helping women navigate hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle changes
across the lifespan, including the transition through perimenopause and menopause. She takes
a personalized approach to nutrition, with a focus on optimizing metabolic health, supporting
body composition goals, and improving energy, sleep, and overall quality of life.
As a woman and mother, she has experienced firsthand the impact that nutrition and lifestyle
can have on health and well-being. After years of unexplained symptoms, she was diagnosed
with endometriosis, and her journey to motherhood included significant challenges, including a
traumatic birth and difficulties with breastfeeding. These experiences shaped the way Sharon
practices, reinforcing the importance of being heard, supported, and treated as an individual.
She understands how frustrating it can be to feel dismissed or overlooked, particularly during
times of significant change. The providers who made the greatest difference in her own care
were those who listened and validated her experience. Sharon strives to provide that same level
of thoughtful, individualized care to every patient she works with.
Sharon is passionate about helping women feel strong, supported, and informed as they move
through different life stages. She believes in a realistic, sustainable approach to nutrition and
enjoys partnering with patients to create strategies that fit seamlessly into their lives.
